"I want to personally thank each and every one of these people and businesses who have come on board and sponsored the kids here at Avondale High School.

"Sponsoring our team has a much greater impact on the kids than merely placing an ad in a program or a sign on the field. Each sponsor makes it possible for another child to have the equipment and clothing they need to play on the team.

"Helping these kids is a lot more than giving them a game to play. It tells them that you believe in them and want them to succeed, both on the field and in the classroom... and ultimately in the big game of life.

"It is a known fact that when a team plays exciting football, win or lose, it generates a buzz at the school and in the other students. They have a sense of pride... a sense of belonging to something greater...

"A tighter community grows within the school, reducing the bad elements of gangs, drugs and alcohol abuse, and increasing the good elements of staying in school, applying themselves more in class and getting involved in other activities.

"It's much more than helping a child play football... you help all of the students with your support! Thank you very much for your help!"
